Traffic Patterns
El Dorado Middle School's gate opens at 7:45 a.m. daily. We encourage parents and guardians not to drop off their students too early because there is not Adult Supervision before this time. The first bell rings at 8:10 a.m. and class starts at 8:15 a.m. Please refer to the tab labeled "Bell Schedule" for the class times. Parents, our neighborhood businesses have asked that you please do not drop off and pick up your students at the Dana Plaza Shopping Center. Additionally, there is no adult supervision for the students once they leave campus.
Drivers need to follow the entry and egress of our school campus designated by arrows and traffic signs. In the past, a motorcycle police officer ticketed those for not obeying the traffic signs and going in the opposite traffic flow pattern. Please respect our neighboring schools and do not use the bus circle at Westwood to drop off your El Dorado students.
The safety of our students is our main priority. Please follow all posted signs and yield to those in the crosswalk. Thank you!
