Counseling Department at El Dorado Middle School

El Dorado Middle School now has a comprehensive counseling program whose mission is to support students academically, socially and emotionally.   Our goal is to address the academic, social, emotional, college and career development of all students at El Dorado Middle School.  We are here to encourage students to not only excel academically, but also to demonstrate integrity and superior character. Our counselors can connect students and families to additional resources in the community.

We have two full-time counselors, as well as additional counseling support personnel.  For those students who require ongoing social-emotional support, we have a full-time Fred Finch counselor on campus who is available to meet with students who have Medi-Cal county insurance.  We also have two JFK counseling interns who are available to meet with students individually.  Please contact our counseling department if you feel that your child may benefit from additional counseling support.
